All....I've been reading *a lot* of posts where someone mentions lag on the G3. As someone who is highly interested in purchasing a G3, I have gone into the carrier stores on 3 occasions (Sprint and Verizon are both right next to my work). On all 3 occasions I immediately saw this lag, and I also immediately fixed it.
The lag is not due to the phone...it's just LG's launcher. I was swiping through the home screens and right away saw stutter and jitter. Pissed me off. So as a test I downloaded Nova Launcher on it and ran that instead (yes Play Store does work on demo phones). Perfect. Better than perfect... Super fast. Super smooth. If you're experiencing annoying lag, try downloading Nova Launcher. LG just hasn't optimized their launcher's code yet.
***EDIT*** After thinking about this, before jumping to the conclusion that it's the launcher, I've realized that it could also be a stock widget that causes lag, since when switching to Nova launcher, the stock widgets go away as well. If you're experiencing lag, something to try before switching launchers would be to remove any widgets you have running. Also, if you're running a live wallpaper, remove that as well as I've seen poorly written ones bring devices to a crawl.
