Regarding MIUI

Hi,
I am new to MIUI . I just rooted my phone. The "Micromax Canvas HD A116" . I want to get MIUI to run on my phone. Is MIUI designed specifically for different phone models? Or is it OS based?. I am running jelly bean 4.1.2 and really need MIUI. Could someone explain to me how i can achieve this? And throw some light on MIUI?

All the MIUI I see is for the nexus etc. Can i use that MIUI on my phone? if it is for jellybean 4.1.2? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

EVERY ROM is for a specific phone. One very important thing to know about flashing ROMs: Flashing the wrong one, one that isn't designed for your specific phone model, is likely to "brick" your phone.

I don't know anything about MIUI, and I know even less about the Micromax Canvas. But I do know that you should never, ever, flash a ROM that isn't clearly labeled as being for your phone.
