I will add that Dropbox recently changed the terms of their Free service to only allow three device on that account. I have been a long time user of DropBox and was surprised to learn when I added a laptop to my sync devices in DropBox, that I needed to remove all but three device in order to use this new laptop on the account. As an almost user from their beginning days when they begged for referrals in exchange for free additional storage, need less to say I was surprised to hear of this change, and a bit miffed. This restriction is not obvious in the terms of the free version or the expensive paid as written now. Shows they might be a little embarrassed by this "minor to them, but major to us" change. I recently had a desktop computer, a "server" (second computer for central storage), a laptop, an Android tablet an iPad, and a Android phone accessing my DropBox account space. Much of what is stored is client information and settings that I need to reference in the office and on the road. So now, and before your article, GDrive has become that primary cloud storage location.
It is a same to see a company, when bought out, change something that client base was used to and affects that base is such a way.
