I haven't even made my first payment on my Verizon payment plan on my note 9 and I'm thinking about selling it or trading it and getting the S10 I'm curious to what other people are thinking.

Unless you didn't like the size of the Note 9 (and boy, are you gonna lose money now even if you try the Samsung trade-in), I'd recommend going with the S10+ as it's the closest in size to the Note. The smaller screen on the regular S10 might bug you if you got used to the larger real estate.

Note 10 is coming in a few months most likely with the same hardware and features of the S10+. I think you should enjoy your Note 9 until the Note 10 comes out. Maybe even with a few more hardware and design goodies.

I usually skip one or two generations before upgrading phones. The note 9 is pretty beefy specwise and is due to get at least Android Q before OS upgrades stop.

The Note 9 is amazing and I'm waiting until people are using the S10+ and the others for awhile to see real world experience.

My Note 9 is paid for and I wouldn't trade it or sell it for the S10. If you financed the full price you would really take a beating on it. It's your money but I don't see a reason to make that decision.
