I removed the wifi calling app because it was a paid service and there were cheaper options out there. But since now it is free, I'm wondering how can I get it back without re-flash the whole system? Can I just donload it somewhere and put it back manually?

I tried the wifi calling app somebody pulled from G2 but it doesn't work on the optimus T

How did you try to install it?

via some file manager app. I think each wifi calling app is specific for the hardware, so I really need the optimus T version. Can someone just email me the apk from the stock rom?

(I do have a NAND backup of stock rom. Is there a way to browse and extract specific files from the back up?)

boblu would you be kind enough to post a link to get this program? I'm currently riding around. and It would be convenient and splendid if you would do that so I can do so on my computer when I get home

* oh wait I didn't realize u did post it up. sorry...

i tried a couple methods such as the unyaffs project and using titanium. i got them all installed but it doesnt seem to want to work. but i got the visual voice mail to work :D

I am starting to wonder if its a software thing. because i used the apk from the original back up from it. in the settings in the stock ROM its an P-509. with CyanogenMod 7.0.2 installed it thinks its a P-500
