Reinstalling APP on Android after total Reset & SD reformat.

I am a relatively new Android Owner, purchasing the Sprint HTC EVO 4G on June 4. I just updated to Froyo 2.2 and it is a very nice OS and the upgrade was easy. I did a total reset and included a reformat of the SD card to totally clean out the unit, simulating losing the phone with the SD card and getting both replaced. Obviously, getting the email, contacts & calendar back was easy with my synced Gmail account. How do I get the APPs reinstalled easily? I was told that APPBrain.com had a feature that made this easy. It does not seem to work if the SD card is formatted or totally replaced simulating a lost phone. Can someone recommend a good plan with step by step instructions? Is there a user?s manual for APPBrain.com so I know what it will and will not do? Thanks, David
