i was totally sold on getting a nexus, but they have pushed it so far back im probably just going to wait a bit more and get the new evo. They probably could sell a few more units is they would get these things out sooner. I almost went to T mobile.

I have been wanting to switch from T-Mobile to Sprint since this phone was announced and pre-ordered it from Best Buy. I am starting to have my doubts as T-Mobile is just releasing devices left and right (SK4G, G2x, G-Slate, upcoming HTC Sensation, Doubleshot, BB Curve Touch,BB Monza, etc.) and Sprint is holding on to the NS4G like its a lifeline.

I feel this 'keeping everyone in the dark' strategy might just backfire. Sprint customers may have no choice (besides waiting for the Evo3D) but I am free to stay with T-Mobile or jump to another carrier if I run out of patience. I hope that won't be the case :-!

I just went to the sprint site and put my info for my account to see what kind of upgrade I can get and it said that I get a $75 credit towards upgrade. If that is the case then I also checked what my early cxl fee would be $60. Just looking at the Epic for a example it was like almost $400 for me. It would be cheaper to cxl, pay early cxl fee and start a new policy with the $199 rate and I could use my companies disc. I gotta stop by sprint and see what the deal is. Anyone kind of in the same boat as me?

I gotta get the nexus s!

Just saw an interesting tweet come across about the NS4G being handed out at Google I/O not sure how true it is but it kinda makes sense and could be why we haven't heard anything.

I don't know how many times I've been to this thread.

Putting my Nexus S 4G rubber case around my Palm Pre just isn't cutting it.

I have. I was on the phone with Sprint for 45mins a couple weeks ago complaining about wanting to upgrade and having my 12 month upgrade taken away. He told me about this "Buy Up" program where essentially you pay the ETF and then recontract for 2 years and get the phone for $199. Thing is, you don't really want to cancel your service because you will lose your number. Make sure that you ask about this "program" when it comes time to get the phone.

I'd say we're all a little obsessed at this point :)

Impatiently waiting to upgrade from a Pre as well.

What is Goggle I/O?

Usually 2 day developer conference Google hosts. There are usually big names from all over the tech game there including android of course and app development.

Google usually gives out a sweet goodie bag too. I think in previous years theyve given the nexus one and last year a google tv unit from logitech if i remember correctly.

That could be a BAD sign.

Evo was handed out at last year's I/O, which was in mid-May. Evo was officially released early June to the public.
