My 1st nexus didn't heat up much but developed other problems so Verizon sent me this re-manufactured one. It heated up so much I didn't want to put it up to my ears. I have a inferred temp gun so I tested the phones temp and got 115 deg. I would think that is a little high. What does any one else think? This ones screen touch is at times no touch but a press.

I would say thats to high are you running any graphic intense games when it gets so hot?

Take it back to Verizon and tell them its heating up and shutting down (which it is designed to do when it gets to a certain point).

Don't even continue to waste your time with it..

Just got off the phone, going to send it back. I will give the Nexus 1 more try if the next one messes up I'm getting the Razr Maxx. Thanx for the input.

I've gotten a couple android refurbs that had overheating issues, like something wasn't put back right...

But on 3g and surfing internet or youtube, every android phone will heat. I believe overheating is 125 iirc...
