Hi, I'm very much L 8 4 DNR (to this party)
But after almost 20 years uploading cellphone videos to YouTube (and many other websites) - today I forgot how to rotate a few new videos I took, with my old CDMA Cellphone, a Nokia 6120 Classic, which I originally used as a dashcam in "landscape" mode.

Today I recharged it (as I had stored it away after buying a new 4G phone, that is terrible for taking clear videos.
So I re-energised the classic, to do exactly that (as it's si is so dead no one can disturb me by ringing it when filming.

So - I fired it up and without hthought, made four videos to upload somewhere when OM Goodness - why TF are they in Portratit mode, but side on?

I searched the net to find this forum site (years too late but at least I am here with my two cents worth.

SOMEWHERE (I can't remember where but I just changed it a few minutes ago)
In settings or MODE or somthing along those lines, I found a setting for EITHER Portrait mode or Landscape Mode.
I have just changed mine from Portrait to landscape, and am about to take some text vids to see WTF happened?

BBSoon.
Or not as I have forgotten where the porttrait & landscape settings are located..

Welcome to Android Central! I moved this from the Introductions forum to the Ask A Question forum, since it's not really an intro.

There used to be an option to rotate videos in the YouTube upload screen, but apparently that's gone. You can use Google Photos to rotate the video before you upload it: https://www.howtogeek.com/284652/how-to-rotate-a-video-on-android/
