Android Central Question

I use my samsung s5 as a overhead camera to record my piano tutorials. So i fix it via selfie stick somehow. I align it to record landscape every time moving it down and up because whenever i remove it when i'm done my job, or the camera software shuts down, it set up itself to portrait again. So my alignments get lost and i keep need to align it again an again. Is there any way to fix video camera to landscape or to set it to landscape without moving the phone ?
I guess the camera orientation works with a compass software . Any way to disable the compass temporarily when orientation set to landscape?
Thanks.

The camera orientation works with the accelerometer, but you can set orientation manually. Go into the quick settings and turn autorotate off. (A rotate icon will pop up at the lower right corner [where that corner is in portrait] - just ignore it for your use.)
