Reminders not popping as they should

Pixel XL running Android O beta since it became publicly available about a week ago.

I use Reminders extensively with several that should pop every day at different times for various tasks plus ad-hoc reminders that I enter as needed ("Pick up prescription on way home from work").

I am certain that they were all working normally the first few days after installing Android O but I realized yesterday that they are no longer popping up nor am I seeing the little icon in the top status bar when I have a reminder waiting to be flagged as "Done." Not appearing on the lock screen either. If I open the Google app, I see my waiting reminders there but that is somewhat pointless as I need to remember to check for open reminders.

The question then is, is this an Android O problem? Or, a Google app problem? I note that Google app updated on my phone two days ago - about the same time I noticed that reminders are no longer popping.

Anyone else having an issue with reminders?

Reminders are working on mine. You didn't factory reset after installing O did you?

No, I did not. But I am sure reminders were initially working properly. I think it is tied to the Google App update that hit my phone two days ago.

Just got some reminders today, all is functioning well. I have one that goes off every day and still works

So, I uninstalled updates for the Google App and reminders seem to be working normally again.
