Reminders

When I get a reminder on my watch I swipe right to dismiss it, but then the reminder comes back every hour. When I go to Google Now on my phone, I see the reminder and at the bottom of the reminder it says, "remind me in an hour". This is for a reminder that already came up on my watch over an hour ago and I swiped right to dismiss it. It seems like the only way to keep the reminder from coming back every hour is to go in to my phone and remove it from Google Now on the phone??? Is that normal?

I'm using a Huawei watch connected to Galaxy S5 if that helps. Just got the watch yesterday. Had a Galaxy Gear watch before using Tizen, so this is my first time with AW. Love it so far though. Just not sure if the reminders should keep coming back like this.

I believe what is happening here is when you swipe the reminder away on your watch, Google thinks you still haven't completed that task and therefore should be reminded again (in an hour) .

To get it so it doesn't show up again, you can swipe the reminder notification the other direction (from right to left) to show more options. The first option you swipe to should be "in an hour" which will dismiss the notification now, but reminds you again in an hour. Swipe again and you should now see "Archive" (screenshot below), tap that and the reminder will be sent away, never try be heard from again Hehe.

If you need to ever recall these reminders, you can still find then and delete them in Google Now.

Thank you for the reply, when I swipe from right to left I don't see the options you mentioned above. However it does seem to be working now. Maybe it was just a matter of restarting the watch and my phone. The issues I was having were on the first night that I got the watch. I will keep playing with it, as I would like to see the options you mentioned above as those would be helpful. Do those options show on the watch or are you seeing those on the phone?

The above image is a screenshot from my Asus ZenWatch 1, it should show on the watch. Not entirely sure why this isn't showing on yours, but glad to hear your issue was resolved none the less.
