Remove 4-digit PIN on S9

I was told I should activate the PIN lock on my Samsung S9. I did it, but find it's a nuisance. I can't find any way to remove it now! I only want the Swipe Screen, not a 4-digit PIN to open my phone. When I go into settings and try to change it, I enter my current PIN, which is fine, then when it says new PIN I tried to leave it blank but it doesn't change it.

Please, please tell me what to do. Thanks.

If the device is encrypted a PIN is required to unlock it.

Just select swipe , this what it says if I try to change from password to swipe while I tap swipe option
