Remove added soft buttons?

Hi all.

I added 2 new soft buttons together with the on-screen navigation buttons.
I think i added this in an earlier version of android? But now they have removed the settings where i could add or remove soft keys button.

Nexus 6P
Android 8.1.0

You would have done this with System UI Tuner.

I did the same thing on my Pixel XL, using System UI Tuner to add a copy/paste button on the far left. Then, a later version of System UI Tuner no longer offered the option to add buttons but it also did not offer any way to remove previously added buttons.

I'm afraid to say the only way to get rid of them at this point may be a factory data reset howver I really don't know for certain that that will fix it.

You could try wiping the cache partition; I don't think it will help, but it is quick and painless (as opposed to a full reset).

And thanks for answering me.
I have wiped the cache partition, but that didn't fix this thing.

And i don't think i will perform a factory data reset at this time.

I can live with this extra buttons, but i was just curious about if they could bee removed.

Actually, I am somewhat surprised they survived the upgrade from Android 7.x to 8.1.0; I would have thought that alone would have gotten rid of them.

Yes that's true.
They have followed me through several updates..
