What would be the best way to remove the battery fully charged alert?

I want to keep my Epic as near to stock Froyo as possible, and I only want to remove the battery notification.

I recently restored my phone to stock, but I have rooted and installed roms and kernels before. I just want to keep my phone stock, but remove that dang alert.

Your only real option is to flash a custom ROM that has this included in it. Its safe to say any of the custom EC05 based ROMs have this incorporated into them. You state you like to stay close to stock as possible, unfortunately most or all of the custom ROMs are modified in one way or the other and have the bloat removed. You could always run one of these and then add the removed bloatware back into them.

Since this is a system file that needs to be modified only running a custom ROM your only option to fixing this situation that I know of.

Thanks Paul. I was hoping I only needed to have root to fix this. Oh well, the alert annoys me enough that I am going back to a custom rom. I had your previous Ace rom and liked it. How has version 2 been holding up?

Not too bad. For many its been quite good and others have had a few issues, basically the same outcome for most ROMs.
