How do I remove; Day of week/Month/Date from Home Screen?

Pixel XL, I think it's a part of the pixel launcher, it's stuck there, can't tap/hold to slide off, tap and hold does nothing. Stuck at top of screen, Thursday, Mar 5 taking up screen space.

You can't get rid of At A Glance on the Pixel Launcher (which is one of the reasons I prefer Nova). But you still should get a Preferences option if you long-press it. Does it still happen in Safe Mode? https://support.google.com/pixelphone/answer/2852139?hl=en

I tried Long Press and nothing happened, then went to Safe Mode and still nothing happens with Long Press.

If you long-press on any empty part of your homescreen, do you get a menu that includes Home Settings? If so, tap that and see if there's an At A Glance option there.

Long Press on home screen does bring up Home Settings, but in HS there is no mention of At A Glance, even opened up everything to see is it was deeper in, but no. Maybe it's an option that was introduced in newer Pixels. My parents have a 1st gen Pixel, so I can check that myself in a few days the next time I see them. In the meantime, you can try Rootless Launcher, which is like a copy of the Pixel Launcher, except with more options.

Old gen, maybe not, the Pixel XL has the latest Android Q/10, so I'd assume all google phones that were allowed it should run the same, but I could be wrong, not an expert, know just enough to get into trouble! LOL
