Remove mask after taking photo on Galaxy S8?

Is there is a way to remove the mask (aka face mask, AR, etc.) once yoy take a photo with the mask on? In other words, does the camera save a copy (without the effect) in a different location?

Unfortunately, nope. Once the picture is taken, the filter is saved with it. There's no 'original' picture saved.
