Remove the factory installed screen protector (protective lens) to remove the front logo

I am normally bugged by these types of logos, and have great love for plain/clean looks.
I've been surprisingly ok with it.

I removed the top layer with the logo and had Verizon install a tempered glass protector. My top layer was littered with scratches from unlocking my phone. With the new protector the phone is noticeably lighter and the screen is definitely a little sharper. The glass protector is much more resistant to finger prints as well. Overall i'm happy and it is worth the risk.

Just replaced my top layer and I'm glad it wasn't to remove the check box. I must have gotten a phone from a later batch because I'm stuck with it. But I had a pretty good scratch so it was nice to replace the top layer so easily.

I just got a Turbo 2 today and also ordered a tempered glass protector from Amazon. I read that the screen scratches easy so I preordered it.

It is a lens, NOT a screen protector, and yes, from IF ordered from Motorola, there is no logo. When ordered through Verizon, guarantee it has the logo.

I guess I don't get the whole idea of the logo being an issue. I just got mine and bought an Otterbox Defender case for it, and if there IS a logo on mine (I didn't check because the first thing I did was put it in the protective case), it's hidden anyway, and I'm not dismantling my Otterbox case for the sake of looking.

The only logo I have on my phone now is the Otterbox logo on the back bottom of the rubberized shell that surrounds the actual protective case. It is not blatantly noticeable, and far less of an issue than this Verizon logo that I feel is a minor quibble to begin with.

There has been worse from Verizon. This situation, especially considering this is a Verizon-exclusive phone, is making a mountain out of an anthill.

He said he ordered a screen protector, and the one sold by Verizon is indeed tempered glass. I have one on my Droid T2. I did not remove any part of the screen covering before applying the screen protector. All the layers of the screen are what give it its shatterproof quality.
