Removed stock messing app from default programs, now I can only receive text messages and not send them. How can I fix this?

Removed stock messing app from default programs

I removed the messaging app from default programs now I can only receive texts and not send them. I've tried going through app manager but when I click on it the default button is greyed out. S4 jellybean 4.2

The default is for receiving. If you mean that you removed the icon from the dock or the homepage, just find it in the app drawer (messages, messaging, hangouts, whichever one you prefer) long-press it, and drag it to where you want it.
