Removing Battery Cover

I just got my Droid X today. So far I LOVE it!! The only thing is the battery cover is a PITA to remove. I am planning on ordering extra batteries for the phone. How do you remove the cover? Everytime I slide it down it seems like I am going to break the phone.

lol I wondered the same as I needed to do take the memory card out. Try gripping the phone by the sides and use both thumbs to slide the cover down. Use the same grip to push it closed.

i actually love the battery door design on this much better than most phones on the market

it holds so well compared to the the moto droid
