Removing guest user without rooting?

[AC Question]

I have 6 galaxy s2 tablets intended office use. I would like to create users with restricted app access however having the guest user there negates my efforts. I see that I will need to root all the tablets in order to remove the guest user but was wondering if there was an alternative way to do this. Thanks!
