Removing paint over logo on Generic replacement screen from ebay

So I got this Generic DIY replacement screen for my broken phone. It has some paint or other coating over the brand logo. I can see from the back that the logo is actually there, but for whatever reason, they had to cover it I guess. I tried to scratch it with my nails but it doesn't chip it. I suppose there some chemical you can use. Or maybe a razor, but I think that may risk damaging/removing the logo itself? I did recall some mention of this process in one of the ebay listings but I can't find that listing and maybe it wasn't even from the same manufacturer.

It's a Sony Xperia Z3 Compact screen to be specific, but I'm sure it's the similar to other Generic replacement screens.

Thanks! :)

I think you're playing with fire anyway you try and remove it. To harsh a chemical and you risk removing everything. Razor blade the same thing. I suggest resigning yourself to completely removing the paint and logo. In the end I think you'll be happier than having a mess. Thanks.

I'm not sure how we can help with that. I think you're correct, it sounds like any of those options would just mess up the screen.

UPDATE:

I happened to get it a little wet once and then noticed part of the corner scratched off. So I wiped it a bit with a damp cloth and the next day I guess the water "weakened" it and was able to remove the paint with my nails to reveal the logo.

Just an FYI in case this comes of any use to someone in the future.
