Removing passwords from individual apps

So I downloaded and installed the NY Times app. To get the content, you had to sign in. I have an account. But I entered the wrong password. I had entered yes in the "remember this password" dialog box. Now every time I try to enter the password NY Times app, the droid "corrects" it to the wrong one.

How do I access the list of passwords for the individual apps so I can eliminate the wrong password?
Alternatively is there a way of overriding the incorrect password?

I don't have the NYTimes app installed, but you should be able to Clear Data, and Clear Cache on the app to flush it out.

From your Home Screen, select Menu, then Manage Apps, scroll down to the NY Times app and select it. Tap on Clear Cache and Clear Data, then use the Back key to exit. Restart the app, and it should have forgotten your incorrect signon.

If you still have the problem, I would uninstall the app then download and install it again from the Market.
