I hate how every time I turn on my phone I have to see the T-Mobile splash screen. How can I get it to stock, or remove it altogether?

Yes, I am a noob. :o

You will need to root the phone to be able to remove the bootup graphics. If you look in the market for RyanZa's OCLF (One Click Lag Fix). This will will allow you to root the phone and remove the boot up animations.

You can also turn system sounds all the way down. Then at least you won't hear it.

About this whole rooting thing...is that like an irreversible fire-and-brimstone kind of thing? Or can I undo it? I'm trying to trade my Vibrant for a Captivate so I don't want to be messing with it in any irrevocable way...
