renaming contacts

I've got my facebook and twitter account linked to my phone contacts. I like it because when I want to get to someone quickly to contact them I have the means to do so on any socialnetwork I choose. However I've noticed that some of my contacts take on the names from different social networks. I've tried to manually rename them but the social network name still appears in my contact list. Is there anyway to force the phone to show the contact defult name or at least force it to choose which social nextwork to display names from ?

I think you can link the contacts in your address book. When you do that you can choose which one is the main contact.
