Repair Home button

There are a lot of DIY videos on YouTube. While I've seen many for replacing the charging port and different elements of the display I have not seen any to replace a button. However there may very well be such videos. Having only 2 posts I will also say that any repairs made by anyone other than an authorized servicer will result in a voided warranty and will usually void your insurance as well.

It's easy enough to get hold of a replacement button on ebay. Fitting it, however, will either involve removing the glass to fit it from the front or dismantling most of the phone to fit it from the back. Neither impossible but time consuming and tricky. If it's the micro-switch behind the button which needs replaced then I think you may be on a loser.
