Replace Moto Connect with....?

With the demise of Motorola Connect what can I try? I liked Moto Connect, I learned to put up with lag problems. The last time I used Mighty Text, my email and text were constantly pounded with requests from Might Text to invite more friends, so I'd prefer not to use them. What's out there for texting from my PC to phones?
