Replacement Battery Experiences

I have a Verizon Note 5 and think it is a terrific phone but the battery life is disappointing. I need to charge it at least once a day. I have seen comments scattered in other threads where folks have reported on replacing the Note 5 battery and I thought it might be useful if a thread contained information on the experiences of those who have replaced the battery and could tell us what they paid, where the work was done, and if they felt it was worth the effort to replace the battery. I have thought about replacing my battery and would be very interested in reading the comments of others who replaced the battery. Thanks in advance for the information.

I'll be watching this one... never gave a thought that it might be a depleted battery. I've had my Note 5 *for a year and a half* and was always content with the battery performance until I got my Note 7s. Once Samsung took them back and I had to go back to the Note 5, I could no longer deal with it. I bought an S7 Active with a 4000 mAh battery and the Note 5 is in a box as a backup. I'm going to keep an eye on this thread... thanks for starting it! (I'm also awaiting the Note 8)

On AT&T will be doing this down the road. Found a couple of places that provides newcOEM battery and will change out for about 60.00.

I use my N5 to work all day ... when get home it's still at lease 30% left ...
and nothing wrong with charge the phone once a day , that's the way for me with any phone I use ...:)

Down the road if I have to replace it , I will do it by myself.

I've had my Note 5 since December 2015.

I'll be watching this one... never gave a thought that it might be a depleted battery. I've had my Note 5 for three (+) years and was always content with the battery performance until I got my Note 7s. Once Samsung took them back and I had to go back to the Note 5, I could no longer deal with it. I bought an S7 Active with a 4000 mAh battery and the Note 5 is in a box as a backup. You might want to edit your post that said you have had your Note 5 for 3+ years. The phone was released to public in August/September 2015. I got my first Note 5 in October 2015.

You are correct - here I've been thinking I had a Note 5 with Verizon then switched to AT&T and got one with them. I read your post and looked back and they were both Note 4s - shortly after switching to AT&T, I must have upgraded to the Note 5 once it was introduced. I stand corrected!
