Replacement N7 arrived. Screen Protector Installed

Interesting.

Took the back plastic off which is normal. But there wasn't one on the front which is odd since the last one had it.

Then I looked closer and sure enough there was an installed plastic screen protector on the phone.

They did a great job getting it on but I had plastic ones so I took it off.

Mine came from VZW so maybe it's different from others.

In any event so far so good. Green battery icon in place.

I'm going to give it a couple days as I read many people had improvements in performance that were noticeable.

Since I set it up as a new device battery is going to take a hit and performance until it's all settled.

I bought a new Note 7. Opened it, and noticed the screen protector right away. Doesn't seem normal. Checking to see if they are "refurbished". Does anyone know already?

Check your build date someone outside Samsung had there hands on it

Every Verizon Note 7 ever made comes with this clear protector from the factory. It's 100% normal.

I was actually using my factory screen protector until the 2nd replacement lol. It was too good to take off to be honest. Which it wrapped the curves.

I have a replacement Verizon Note 7. It came with a plastic sheet, front and back. I left the front in place because Zagg was sold out at Best Buy.

My front plastic sheet ends near the curve. No coverage to the edge. But it is working fine as a screen protector for now.
