Replacement nexus 10

Ok so got a replacement 10 on Saturday after my last one having a video issue, this one is much better, not perfect but much much better......its now going back as its stopped connecting to the internet. Last night was fine, today nothing. I have reset the internet a few times, my iPad, phone and everything else connects to the internet but this. It see's the connection and connects but actually does nothing. I tried to reset the tablet and now it won't go through set up as it can't actually connect to the internet. Really not a happy person. Its a lovely tablet in every respect, very quick, feels good but its just an expensive paper weight now.

It does seem odd that you have had 2 that both had issues. Statistically, that's exceptional.

Maybe making a useful comment would be more productive. To that same token some details so we can help you will be needed.

What happens when you tried to connect. Have you looked at the connection under wifi setttings to see the status. Have you checked your router to see that it is seeing the device.

If you have a WPS button on the router did you try that?

I have seen similar behavior when someone has mac filtering turned on in their router.
 
Have you tried the nexus 10 on a totally different WiFi? Maybe for some reason the nexus 10 with your router settings just don't go well together.

WiFi came back then would stop again. All settings are/were fine. It was working then stopped. In the evening it was working on my girlfriends wifi then........suddenly hung, stopped wouldn't connect.
I'm not in anyway slagging it or anything off but I'm a bit miffed.

Is bluetooth turned on. What happens when you turn it off

What frequency is your router running on. 2.4ghz or 5ghz

I noticed some strange behavior on the 2.4 ghz band after mine upgraded to kitkat. I just moved to 5ghz and all is well.

This is odd you had trouble with two different nexus 10. I wonder what it could be.

Do you have muliple access points with the same SSID? That can confuse Android.
