Replacement Nexus is disapointing

I would have to agree had the nexus when it first came out built in china went through about 5 due to signal dropping out of no where taking a reboot to get it bad bad screens. When I would get a call it would just start making all kinds of loud weird noises from the ear piece. So the sent me a RAZR got tired of that good phone but after a while few months it slowed way down got tired of waiting 2 to 3 seconds to open the phone dialer. So picked up a like new first one I had made in Korea i515.09 this thing has been great

Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Android Central Forums

I am sending back my original Korean made unit and keeping a China one in its place due to a bad USB port. So far it is ok but I have not done a whole lot with it yet. I was not aware of IMM76Q until I read up on it. Has me worried but so far so good. The unit itself was physically ok. There is a difference in the screen color but nothing horrible. Some kernels looked similar to this, IMO.

Last Thursday I called VZW and had a replacement Nexus since because my usb port wasn't charging correctly. Friday 8-24-12 received Nexus and had the data drop issue. I went into the store and they tested the phone and switched the SIM card, same issue, the 4G data signal would drop to nothing and there would be an X in the space where the bars usually are. They sent me another Nexus. Received 2nd Nexus Monday 8-27-12 with same data drop issue, called and they mailed me another. Received 3rd replacement Nexus today 8-28-12 and same problem with the data drop, they informed me that they couldn't mail me out another phone until they received the ones they had sent back so I have them all mailed back now and have a Nexus stuck on 3G. Hoping I can complain and get a SG3.

Also since the release of the phone I have had the microphone mute out problem, you are talking to someone and you can hear them but they cannot hear you, this problem has been there since release last year. Amazing - I like the phone but to many problems.

Just a follow up. It appears the new (leaked) radios V.FF02/FG02 address this issue. No more drops on the. 10 baseband anymore. And they managed not to break the older baseband in the process!
