Samsung's have a great feature where if you are in any text field on an app or a website, if you hold the side button, it immediately launches Bixby voice dictation to fill it in for you. It's a great little feature, but I wonder if anybody knows a way to replace this with Google's voice dictation instead which is just a bit better?

To be clear, I'm not talking about replacing Bixby in general by remapping the side button to launch google when you hold that down.. I do that already to launch Assistant using an app called SideActions. I'm talking specifically about the voice dictation thing.

Thanks

Not sure I understand the question, but doesn't your keyboard have a voice dictation microphone icon on it? I use Google's Gboard and it launches Google voice dictation. It understands what I'm saying close to 100% of the time.

Oh yeah, it does. I just thought it would be better to remap the physical button.

Personally i use "one hand operation +" which is from the good lock family of apps from samsung to help customize your phone.

Its not a physical button tho, it has to do with swipes. Like on my phone i use
-A left swipe to pull down the notification
-A long left swipe for password manager
-A right swipe for the flashlight.

There are a lot of different apps or actions you could do with the app. Which i love. I think its better then the edge panels that is baked in. But both have there pros and cons.
