Replacing the battery

I've got an old Note 4, with a battery pushing 2 years. I've decided to not buy the Note 5, but instead keep my perfectly good Note 4 until the Note 6 comes out next year. My battery life is not the best, and I am wondering whether it might be time for a new fresh battery to use for the next year. How often is it suggested you replace your battery on the Note 4?

Yep a typo. My battery has been in use for 10 months.

If you like try getting a extended battery...

Just get a new one on Amazon or eBay. They are very inexpensive and you could use the older one as a backup if you need to swap quickly later in the day if you need to.

You could try this test...
Pull the battery out.
Place it flat on a table.
Does it wobble at all when you alternate pressing back and forth on both long sides?

Turn it over and try the same thing. Any wobble?

If it wobbles at all, look closely for a bulge. If you see one, there is a blown cell. Time to replace the battery.

I got these $25 batteries + wall charger and they work very well:
[NFC/Google Wallet Capable] Anker 2 x 3220mAh Li-ion Batteries
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00Q4NQQA0...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU4610846

If the battery sits flat with no wobble, the battery is likely fine (no blown cell) but you can replace it and see if that solves the issue.

Good luck!
