Replacing usb port.

my usb port on my phone is messed up. I already ordered a new usb port ribbon which includes the recent and back keys. I have to take off the screen to do it.

Do I need to put new adhesive on the back side of the screen when i put it back together?

You should replace the adhesive, unless of course you plan on NOT ever exposing your device to liquids.

i don't plan to get it exposed to liquid, since the s6 isnt water resistant.

my main concern is will it still adhere good

It should. Just when you're done, use a blow dryer to warm the residual adhesive up, just before putting back together. Then once it's together, warm it one more time.
