Resending SMS Text after Reboot

Has anyone else had this problem. I will reboot my phone and when it gets back up it will pick random texts ive sent and resend them some a few days old some a few hours. And only happens on reboot.....HELP

oh and i was using sms popup but i have deleted it and it still does it

yes this happened to me the other day--- i thought maybe it was the sms-popup i installed recently so i removed it and installed chompsms

I uninstalled PopupSMS and installed ChompSMS, and this same problem is still happening to me. Does anyone have an idea of the problem???

It happens to me on EVERY reboot, its annoying and embarrassing. It resends and sometimes even rereceives many, many messages, some hours old, some days old. This is ridiculous that something like this happens, on EVERY reboot, let alone at all.

Any idea how to make this better??

sms popup is the cause of it. it stopped completely for me after I uninstalled and rebooted one more time. i've been using handcent since with no issues.

sorry for bringing up an old forum post but this happened to me today, anyone know of a reason for this? I have always like smspopup on my droid and never had a problem with it, I think the resent messages may have been the ones I sent with the quick reply option... I will do some testing to find out.

Note I also just rooted my phone before the reboot and I was connected to wifi and charging on my computer via usb. Anyone else match any of those criteria??

ok I did a small test and it seems that sms popup will only resend messages sent using the quick reply button and nothing else, so just do not use that and you will have no problem... I think
