Reservations Open

So, reading the fine print of the email, which I got on Feb 1, it says:

"... nor are you guaranteed a device during pre-order, as supplies will be limited."

Uh... so other than them getting our email address, which they will promptly sell to every list out there, what was the point in setting up a reservation?

I understand it doesn't create the preorder... but I'd have thought it would guarantee the chance to preorder.

There really is no point aside from alerting you when it's time to pre-order. And chances are you don't need to be alerted to know when pre-orders are starting.

LOL... You can bank on the fact that I'll be mashing the refresh button as soon as they say preorders are live... as to whose site... that'll be based on preorder goodies :)

Haha you sound like a pro. Pretty sure many of us in this forum will be smashing that button along with you.

From our point it's the additional $35 coupon for those who did reservations, higher trade in value and chance to pre order before it's open for general public. If you are planning to pre order anyway then reservation is the way to go for additional goodies.

I wouldn't worry about the fine print that much based on reservations from past releases.
