Is there a way to reset just 1 thing rather than resting all applications? Like when I open a file in an email and it wants me to open it a certain app but other files I want to use another app I have to go into application settings and reset all apps. That's annoying bc I have a lot of apps that I have notifications turned off on but that turns all that back on.

Maybe delete the app in question and reinstall it would be a good workaround? This way you get to choose it's settings again, WITHOUT affecting other apps?

that's the only work around I have found also but that is not a good one bc I have stuff saved on a few of them that will have to be reloaded if I delete it. There has to be a way around this. Its the biggest flaw I have found with the Samsung device. It used to ask if it was a 1 time thing or do permanently and that was perfect.

I'm not sure I understand what you want to do, but if you want to clear the default app to perform an action, then go to Settings, applications, default applications, clear default for the app you want/don't want to use.

Ok if I open a email and want to open a file in it. The 1st time it will ask you which app you would like to open it in if its PDF or whatever apps you have that support those files. But there are some times I want to open that same email file in another app bc it does something the other app want do and vise versa. And the only way I have found to do that is to Reset All Applications and that sucks.
