restart when power on

for the past month or so, when i turn off my phone then turn it back on, i have to hold the power button down until it vibrates and comes on to the white htc screen and it restarts. EVERYTIME. then when it's completely loaded, it shows in my notification bar !Sleep mode enabled. has anyone else had this problem?
