Restore android data to my new phone from usb storage

I used Sony z3 and backed up my android to an USB storage. Now i am using Samsung and want to restore the android data. Still i couldn't find right app to restore data which i backed up from Sony earlier. can anyone help me to restore my android data to new phone. When i backed up i didn't use any third party app only through settings.

Welcome to the forums. Have not run across this before, from a USB. Samsung Smartswitch works very well, but is more phone to phone. You don't say which Samsung device you have, but it should have SS installed, or if not, you can download it. Activate it and see if there is an option to restore from a computer (pretty sure there is). You can hook the USB up the computer and restore that way. Would have been much easier going direct phone to phone though, if you still have the Sony.
