How do I find music controls on aosp and rotary lockscreen? I'm on sc 2.9 and not the patch. Do I turn on my music and then go to the lockscreen?

2.9.1 is a zip file. You flash it through clockworkmod recovery (cwm)

boot to Red Recovery. SC 2.9 installed it for you. When phone is powered on press and hold lock button you will see list of options.

Go to Recovery. Phone will shut down and then boot up into RED CWM.

Choose to install from SD Card. (do not choose install Update.zip)

Find where on you SD Card you placed the patch.zip file and choose that one.

Flash it and reboot.

You can't flash it with orange. Orange no workie right now.

No 3G connection after flash SC 2.9

Hey guys!

Sorry for the endless posts. I just flashed superclean 2.9 for froyo and now I have no 3G connection, only wifi. When I pull down the notification bar, it shows Mobile Data is on, but...it's not.

Is there any solution for this issue? I have tried *228 and 2 several times; at first time, it worked for a while, but it disappeared soon.

Just for sure, My original modem was EA28, so I have flashed DL09 when I flash SC, and now I flashed DJ05. Everything works perfect, but still no 3G connection. I'm so frustrated :-( If I go to Verizon guys, then they must be like it's my responsibility. What am I suppose to do?

So far so good on SC 2.9.1 (nv). Install was fast, everything has worked post install. Great work!

what does that mean?? did you try pulling out your battery for ten mins,,,,and if it comes to it are you willing to use a fix all to,,,well fix all

So far the patch has fixed the issue with the reboot. And whatever Adrynalyne did to the gps worked because it is kick ars now. It is pulling up my exact location with address on maps, where as before it was a few meters off every time.

I'm pretty sure Froyo will not run on a DJ05 modem. Try to use the EB01 modem eb01modem.tar and flash it through Odin. Make sure to use the PDA button only.

you can use a DL09 modem if that tickles your fancy.

I flashed 2.9 last night, and started having problems so I flashed back to 2.8. When I would hit the power button the phone would go black and vibrate and if I hit the soft keys they would just light up. I would have to pull the battery.

I've mentioned this before, but I do not support themes. If you flash themes or mods that are not compatible with this rom, expect problems.

Don't deny it This issue comes from flashing different framework over mine.

Pull your battery for about five minutes and let it boot back up.

The soft key lights don't come on when I uplock the phone. I either have to press one of the keys or press the volume button for them to light up. Does this happen to anyone else?

Should happen to everyone running this rom. I personally like it better without them always lit up. Plus it saves a little battery.

Mine always come back on when I turn on the screen. And the battery life used by the backlight on the soft touch buttons is minor compared that of the screen
