[Retired][ROM]Superclean 2.9.2 EA15/EB01/EB16/EC10 Based

Got a buddies Laptop (PC) so I am going to Odin the

EB16SC29_DXC.tar ROM and see what gives....

Make sure you follow the instructions and extract the tar file from the rar file and put the tar file in the PDA section not the phone section.

I am not certain what kernel was in the OSX install pkg (2.6.29?) but I just flashed the 327 voodoo kernel just for giggles to see if I could flash the ROM...

About to do the odin thing. BRB...

thats going to leave you with no internal memory
afterwards you are going to have to flash cwm all
then flash a voodoo kernel , and enable lagfix to fix that

If he successfully flashed jt's EC10 voodoo kernel would his kernel version on his phone still read 2.6.29? Would that be because everything else is still EA28?

ok so as of now my phone is hard bricked, im going to have to get home and see if the JIG saves my life lol

Hope you appreciate this Gile lol

I flashed adrynalynes new nonvoodoo kernel this morning this morning and everything is running great so far.

If I do come across any issues, there would be no problem with flashing back to nonvoodoo 2.9.2 in cwm right?

as long as you disable lagfix first, you should be fine

Flashing 2.9.2 from 2.9 with Theme

I had a question in regards to flashing a the Superclean ROM 2.9.2 from SuperClean 2.9 with the NitroDark Honeycomb theme 2.0

If I want to flash SC 2.9.2, what are some steps I need to take to take it from 2.9 to 2.9.2.

I'm not sure exactly what to do because I have the Nitro Honeycomb theme on the SuperClean 2.9.

I've read in couple threads where it says you need to wipe Cache/Davlik before flashing, but I'm not too sure and I don't want to mess it up.

Any help would be welcome.

Wipe Cache, I usually do it 2-3 times, same with Dalvik Cache

Flash 2.9.2 in cwm-all, go into the voodoo menu and click disable lagfix then reboot

After your phone fully reboots, reboot back into recovery

Flash theme of your choice

/win

No need to disable lag fix, he made no mention of running voodoo. Just wipe cache & dalvik cache, flash 2.9. 2, reboot, boot back to cwm, wipe cache & dalvik, flash theme, reboot, done.

success. It failed the first time and worked the 2nd... Now for themeing...

Time to learn the fascinate world...

FW 2.2.1
BBV V.eb01
KV 2.6.32.9
BN EB01

I see I may have to re-root and install CWM.... As the blue recovery screen is up now...

Anyone having data issues? I'm having an issue where I'll lose data and it won't come back until I reboot. Thought it might be an issue with Google navigation since its happened twice while driving. Navigation will force close on me but will work on restart. Data will then die while navigation is on. I had it fail without navigation recently. Using 2.9.2 with voodoo.

I need to disable lagfix even if I am not on voodoo?

which kernel are you currently running?

If it his latest kernel, it is technically a voodoo kernel with a non-voodoo work around (adding the disable_lagfix folder to the voodoo directory on your sd card) So I think you would still have to disable lagfix when flashing back to a non-voodoo kerenel, but I may be wrong...

Any of the more knowledgable memebers here to clear this up?

Yes I am running adynalynes kernel_update with the disable_lagfix folder. When I go to cwm and go to voodoo it says lagfix is actually: disabled and next reboot: disabled
