[Retired][ROM]Superclean 2.9.2 EA15/EB01/EB16/EC10 Based

DUH Me. You already told me which method you were going to use with your second to last statement there. Ok, so download the 2.9.2 zip file to your sd card, then download this CWM-ALL file to your computer, power off your phone, pull the battery, and flash the cwm-all file through ODIN. Then put your battery back in but don't power on the phone, hold the volume up, volume down, and power buttons until samsung flashes twice then immediately let go of all three. You will boot directly to red cwm-all without having to go through stock blue recovery. Install the 2.9.2 zip as you would any other zip through cwm.

Cool, I might have to do that tomorrow. I have to wake up early in the morning. So I am about there. Do you know if there are any issues with Go Launcher? I love Go Launcher and I just don't want to have the issues that others are with Launcherpro. If not, no biggie, I might just make the jump anyway

Wow, my gps locks fast now, maybe 10 seconds inside my house. Everything running smooth. Hardware has always been great now the software matches, no thanks to verizon or samsung. Thanks Adrynalyne

well i looked a little further and I see there is no droidx package...yet...for the latest superclean. So I will hold on to my eb01 deoxed build for now until that one is up and running. I am happy to see that ec10 is available on the other samsung which means maybe, just maybe, it will be available for our phone.

Actually DroidXcon has the no wipe package done. He's still at work so he just threw up a link in a post on the last page of his thread for now instead of listing the whole package in the first post. The hyperlink just reads 2.9.2

Sorry, unfortunately I have never used Go Launcher so I don't know a thing about it.

Up and running... very smooth, love it. Thanks again Adrenalyne!

Question though (for anyone)... has the haptic feedback been pretty much removed? It is still present on the dialer and the soft keys, but definitely not on the keyboards and most (if not all) of the home screen functions.

Just wondering if this is a "feature" of this ROM, or if it is just me? Thanks!

So I am almost, just about, nearly, going to take the plunge into Superclean. I currently have EB01 Deodexed/Debloated rom. I like it but from what I hear this EC10 kernel is great and version 2.9.2 is pretty stable. Anyway, my question is if I can flash the rom right over my current rom? I also have heard people having problems with launcherpro. I use Go Launcher, has anyone else had problems or succes with Go Launcher with 2.9.2? And finally, will a touch of blue theme work with this new superclean?

I use Go Launcher and it runs really well. I like the random transitions option.

I lost it for the keyboard.

What is " fake hotspot monitoring module" ?

Starting with the leak of DL30 - a module was introduced by Verizon/Samsung to monitor the data traffic. In the event that you use a tether app to access the internet via wifi they (may) be able to assess how much data and then potentially bill you for any overages...

Thus far there are no reports of heavy bills. The "fake" is to hopefully circumvent the monitoring of data use.. It is still risky but not as risky as before.

So i'm curious, does everyone just have a MediaFire Pro account? I usually download these ROMs on my phones browser which takes AGES...is there an easier way that i'm missing?

Downloading directly from the phone browser is defintely easiest, but, if I am downloading a larger file (like ROMS and some themes) I tend to only do it that way if I am connected to WiFi. Otherwise, 3g can take forever. Do you have a Wifi connection?

Nope, still not. What version is your camera saying it is? Mine is back to 1 and I could have sworn it was different before. Regardless, doesn't work even after a reboot. Worked yesterday when I took pics, updated this morning, now it doesn't.

Sleep of Death gone?

Hey y'all!
I'm wondering if anyone else is still dealing with the Sleep of Death while running SuperClean? I sure am! It's improved GREATLY, with the last 2.9.1 but I still have to keep checking my phone to see if it's awake or if it died.

I did a "Factory Reset" through CWM, wiped Cache, wiped Dalvik Cache, Flashed 2.9 through CWM and then flashed 2.9.1. Prior to that, I copied off the contents of my SD card to my computer, reformatted my SD card, then did the mentioned flashes, then brought back to my card what I needed. It is improved significantly, as the death only happens once, sometimes twice in a day. But it does still happen. I"m just so frustrated because there is so much to LOVE about SuperClean, namely I can go the entire day with one battery charge! But this is frustrating.

Anyone have any other suggestions? Should I give 2.9.2 a shot, since the introduction of the EC10 kernal?

Thanks!
