[Retired][ROM]Superclean 2.9.2 EA15/EB01/EB16/EC10 Based

Hey SheepDawg!

Is post number 4 the right instructions on the super thread to flash this ROM? I did the DriodXcon 2.9.1 full install a while ago, so I don't think I need to do it again for 2.9.2. Also, do I need to do a data wipe or is the cache-dalvik wipe sufficient?

I know u weren't asking me, but.... I had to flash 2.9.2 twice. The first time I only wiped cache and dalvic and had some issues with laucher pro. I don't think it was a deep enough wipe. So I went and did a data wipe/factory reset.... all was great after that. Just my experience ...

I had some issues with Launcher Pro, also, after flashing 2.9.2. I uninstalled LP, reinstalled, had 1 force close right away, and it's been fine since then.

I'm running LP also...so I'm interested in your input..I just don't want to do a factory reset if I don't have to...it's a real PITA to customize everything again.

IS this strange? I installed 2.9.2 and it went surprisingly smooth and FAST. The strange thing is that I didn't have to restore anything. My apps were all still there, my Launcher Pro screens and widgets and tray were all still intact and mapped correctly, contacts, texts, emails etc were all still there. Did I miss something?

if you upgrade versions of the same rom you dnot have to factory wipe from my understanding and keep your apps/customizations.

yup! Been changing roms since Super Clean 1 without having to restore anything. It's always good to keep a back up though just in case.

Because you never changed the stock signature?

If you use TiBu, everything will restore the exact way it was set before the wipe...

Maybe it is just me, but I personally will do a factory wipe each time I change ROMs... I like the clean slate.

I was just wondering about the haptic feedback... I kind of like it on my keyboards. Obviously I can live with out it, it was just a feature I liked.

No haptic feedback issues here. Power button for camera not working but I never used it anyway. Did notice that the browser is also different

Neither good or bad I guess. I just noticed that it has us cellular bookmarks and what not. But its working and its fast. Did some more haptic feedback testing and def not having any issues. it's working just fine on all keyboards, soft keys, and long presses

Wireless tether is available from the App market. That one is pretty good. But the new Beta versions of the application, which is called Wi-Fi Tether only does tethering over Wi-Fi and not Bluetooth, is awesome because it does infrastructure tethering so you can hook it up easier to an iPod touch and other devices over Wi-Fi.

Alright, so while I did have haptic feedback issues for a bit, it seems to be a glitch. Reflashing the rom fixed it for me.

I had a force close first thing after I booted after flashing 2.9.2. I uninstalled LP and reinstalled it, and after another force close it has been working fine ever since. Now I am thinking that I may not have had to reinstall, but didn't wait to see what happened after that first force close. It looks like worst case scenario, you'd have to reinstall LP and lose your LP settings. Best case scenario... everything works just fine... or you just get that first force close and everything is fine afterwards.

camera is super duper(jsut discovered that neeto panaramic thing)

email is super duper

in genral, a super duper rom.

cant wait to see what you do with the mezmerize source.
