Hello, I need to retrieve data from my phone but the motherboard is dead. Phone is Huawei P30.

Please how can I do so ? The screen is black but the vibrator is functioning.

Maybe by plugin the hard disk to an other phone ?

Thanks for your help

Everything is soldered on to the PCB, there's no way to "plug the hard disk to another phone" as it's not a hard disk like in a PC. Even if you COULD, modern phones are usually encrypted, with the keys stored in the phone itself so reading the data would be a challenge.

Situations like this are why it's critical to back up important data.

Welcome to Android Central! Does it also make sounds, or ring if you call it? If so, then it's just the screen that's faulty, not the motherboard.

Thanks for your answers ! The phone vibrate when I try to power on yes. Do you think that means it CANT be the motherboard?? Because the repair guy tried with 2 other screens and there were black too...

Oh, if a repair tech already tried replacing the screen and got nothing, then I agree, it's the motherboard. I'm afraid you may be out of luck, then.:'( I think the only way to try to retrieve data would be through a forensic data recovery specialist, which can cost hundreds of dollars.
