I'm struggling a bit here trying to return my AT&T HTC One (Currently running CM10.2, S-ON, HBOOT 1.55). From what I've ascertained, it would seem that i'm SOL without S-OFF. Can I use rumrunner (per this link [GUIDE] Rumrunner S-Off for HTC One M7 International - xda-developers) to obtain S-OFF? Is that ONLY for the international phone? I'm mainly confused by this line: "all HTC One international variant firmwares are supported by a single package, except for the Verizon variant".
Really, it doesn't have to be "warranty-claim ready" - i don't care about relocked, tampered, etc. - I just want this to be running stock, ready for HTC OTA updates. Is there an easier method I am missing?
