Do what Master dguidry said do and take that crappy arse phone back and exchange it with the Photon.. You won't be sorry trust me.Hey I will give you 50 bucks if you don't like the Photon way better.

I've got to agree with my experience,the polls,the fact that as of last Friday my local Sprint store had only sold 2 Photons that the E3D is awesomesauce! I can't put much weight in some reviewer that lives in a basement,says "it's a go" relentlessly and probably flunked more than one English class. I wouldn't trade my E3D for anything at this time.

Ok..Uof H grad, own 5 homes, vacay much and i'm telling you that all you have to do is try the photon out for the same amount of days that you have given the E3D and without all the fixes for its poorness in performance and I guarantee that you will want to keep the Photon.

Well ppl who are ready to give up on normal phone features for smartphone features should go with evo and ppl who still want a "phone should go with photon. Isn't it clear?

Ok..Uof H grad, own 5 homes, vacay much and i'm telling you that all you have to do is try the photon out for the same amount of days that you have given the E3D and without all the fixes for its poorness in performance and I guarantee that you will want to keep the Photon.

I'm extremely happy with everything on my E3D. I'll probably not even get a new phone on my next upgrade. I'm glad your pleased with your Photon. I'll make a deal with you, I won't try to spend your money if you don't try to spend mine.

Lol..Yeah I know how people are when they purchase a product and its too late to take it back so they try to defend their purchase. My intent on this link is to display that even more avid HTC fans that don't mind swallowing a pill will go ahead and admit that HTC did a rush job on the 3D and its almost inferior to the Evo 4g.. I had alot of buyers remorse while using the 3D for the first few days.. it didn't grow on me like the Evo 4g did. The photon is a true upgrade in ALL departments. I'll be happy to provide you with a video of the 'proven' differences.

46 days and I can't find one stinking problem with this phone, so I don't understand where your coming from. The only pill I'm swallowing is the I'm so happy I got this phone pill. As far as your "proven vid no thanks. Maybe you like the screendoor effect but I don't really care for it myself or the multiple reboots per day and the myriad other problems the Photon has, yes I read the Photon forums too!

Personally I like the Photon... but in any sort of comparison... to say 1 is somehow "better" than the other is just silly. Both are killer phones... but the 3D factor is why I chose the EVO 3D.

Benchmark tests for both phones are lame... both are equally fast and very similar. There are no apps that benefit more over the other. Underclock to 1ghz like the photon and probably get a slightly better battery life.

If I knew I was doing travelling here and there around the world, I'd definitely choose a Photon to be practical.

Camera... 5MP vs 8MP... no contest... viewing it on a 960x540 resolution and uploading to facebook... same crap. Quality of image comes from the lens, image processing more than anything. Besides I have a Canon 1ds mk2 for photographs. I use my phone for snapshots to upload online. 3D factor far greater than 8MP images which still look like it was taken on a phone.

video camera... both are 720p.. 3vo is 3D to boot. quality is again to lens, processing and can be subjective... pretty sure even Photon lovers would agree 3VO wins here.

gpu... Tegra 2, nVidia chip on Photon... WINNNNNERRRR... lots of games optimized for tegra 2 also... too bad playing any of them on a phone is not all that fun... tablets yes... phones no... silly simple single press games are the only games that are truly fun in the long run for phone games... Personally I wish the 3VO was Tegra 2 over qualcomm but I'm not running a render farm w/ phones so no biggie.

UI... HTC winner... even with all the bugs on our EVO 3D.

I like both phones... but wouldn't trade my EVO 3D for a Photon... I don't need a "faster" this or that... I want one that's as fast but can do more... and the 3D factor adds a lot more to the phone. Otherwise you're just arguing you can somehow make phone calls faster -.-

And wtf is wrong w/ that dude's internet... even with 3G I don't go that slow. Also he probably should have used a different browser for the EVO and not a bookmarked link which may or may not have been cached.

as stated above why would I side grade? The photon has a.motor locked bootloader so rooting and rom's are limited.

This forum is for EVO 3D enthusiasts, not haters. Coming in here to bash the EVO 3D isn't productive.

Hipocrisy much??? I promise I've seen you trying to sway the "idrones" to the better product before havn't you? This is all im trying to accomplish here. Same as many other people.

Why do you care what other people buy? When I used the Pre I hoped others would buy it so there was a large enough user base to keep it alive and attract developers. But that's not a problem with an android phone. (I still think that if the pre worked smoothly and reliably it would be vastly superior to either android or iOS, but alas, it doesn't.)

But even hoping others would use the pre, I didn't knock other devices, and only pointed out the advantages of the pre when it seemed relevant.

Yes because I was dissappointed with the Evo 3D and you should also..Its facts man whats so hard about accepting the truth in FACTS..The reason why our country is so screwed up is because people don't vote based on FACTS.. Try to come to terms with yourself.. You spent your hard earned money on an inferior product so just deal with it!! Lol.

Lol this is not the appropriate place to talk about politics but you sound just like the very government you think is so messed up. We should do what you think is best because of course, you are so much intellectually superior than the rest of us. I work and earn my money and can, at least as of now, spend it how I choose. I chose this phone, have had no problems with it, nor have I lowered my standards. I, as well as others, are perfectly happy with this phone. It is very condescending of you to come to the EVO 3D forum to basically tell us how stupid we are for exercising our rights both as consumers by purchasing, and by voting (in the Sprint poll) for, a product you don't like.
