Returning HTC 10 to HTC or original purchase store?

I've been trying to resolve my HTC 10 sd card problem with no success

The card is mounted and showing on the memory, but it will not let me move any third party apps there

I was chatting online to HTC and they are asking me to return the phone for repair.

I have also informed the original store where I got the phone (box.co.uk) and they are saying I can return the phone to them for refund or replacement (although I can no longer find the HTC 10 on their website)

I'm not sure which is the better option, back for a repair, or back to the original store for a refund?

Any suggestions?

Ok I suspect the phone is not defective; typically very few apps are able to be installed on removable storage. That said, if you're looking to exchange you should go through the seller.

I have viber and Nikon wmu on my SD card on my HTC M8, but the HTC 10 won't let me move anything to the SD card, it won't even let me have the option of saving my photos there

htc repair is behind big time. if you send your device in it will be a while before you get it back. go through seller if you can....
