Returning S20 FE

Well, I have a certain way that I like to use my phone and this S20 FE does not allow that to happen. The Accidental Touch setting simply does not work. IN 2020 such a simple thing as "pocket mode" was resolved years ago. Since I've owned two OnePlus devices...the 6 and the 7 Pro...I am returning to what has been very good to me and getting the 8t. Should be here in 2 or 3 days according to the OnePlus site where I ordered the unlocked green one. I have had very good results with OnePlus. I do not have the terrible screen issues that many do have but when I did the tests I did have a few swipes skew off of the norm making me wonder if this is a hardware issue then it might just get worse over time. I cannot take that chance. SO even though I was hoping to ween myself off of Chinese phones...if they make the best then I guess I will buy their products. Shame on Samsung for releasing this half-baked Galaxy S20 FE. I think they are keeping silent on the problems because of all the money they've already spent on commercials, and they do NOT want to deal with another debacle like they had a few years ago with exploding batteries. This should NEVER happen from a company with this much money. No quality control at all. SMH

Forgot to mention...I have the Navy Blue case arriving tomorrow. Anyone wants it...just pay for shipping. Other wise it will end up on the altar of useless tech waste.

I thought I'm the only one with problems. Sold my since I missed my return window.

I haven't noticed many touch issues. It seems sensitive to swipes (recognizes a screen swipe as an app move). But other than that on a couple occasions it's been great.

I don't really think it's a QC issue. They rushed development to get it to consumers fast. Bugs will get fixed. Samsung is pretty trustworthy. One+ on the other hand... Good luck, my friend. Hopefully they install your screen right-side-up!

I feel your pain. When I had the Galaxy S5, originally I could disable the stupid home button from unlocking the screen. When a software update made that impossible, that started my utter frustration with that phone and I jettisoned it as soon as I could. It's a very basic functionality issue (and the FE has been fine for me in this regard).
