That's complete torture.
I don't know how you can watch some of these videos especially when you are waiting for your brand new phone and keep it looking pristine.
Got to have some guts to do this in the name of science.
I hope it doesn't put anyone off buying the galaxy S10 lol
lol, love these videos. I mean why not watch someone else torture the device and getting an idea for it's limitations and strengths. If anything this helps reaffirm ones purchase that they are getting a quality device.
Here's a camera shootout vs the Pixel 3

The Vege have their review out: https://www.theverge.com/2019/3/1/1...lus-android-phone-review-price-specs-features

They scored it 8.5/10
I thought the photos taken by the Pixel looked better in all photos of that comparison. Took deeper, moodier shots with better dynamic range and more detail. Galaxy S10 looked too bright and had less dynamic range, which made it look very artificial to me. They'd look good on twitter, but I much preferred the Pixel shots. I disagreed with the S10 winning those few shots.Often it's a matter of what you like when we're talking about 2 devices with great cameras. Pixel will some things better but so will Samsung. I definitely give the edge to Pixel in low light.
Dbrand? Probably because sponsor. LolInteresting....they put a Dbrand on prior to scratching a phone....I wonder why...lol.
He may have that in the past but I don't watch a lot of his videos
I thought the ultrasonic FPS would pass but he did make a mess of it

In saying that, the camera is just one aspect of a phone and I'm after a whole package. While I think the Pixel 3 (still) has the best camera, it seems to be blown out of the water by many aspects of the S10. Performance is something I put high on my priority list and the Pixel 3, a made by Google phone, performs really quite poorly. Taking 3-5 seconds for the camera to load up, delays on apps loading, stutters in animations. It's just turned really bad in the last month or two. And then the constant app reloads, which I firmly believe is due to its 4gb ram limitation, again delays the experience. Features that were advertised not being launched in Australia (call screening), camera features that sound great on paper but are terrible in practice (top shot). It just isn't good enough for the price imo.
From what I can tell, the Galaxy S10+ obviously won't have the software updates as frequently or as fast as the Pixel. But with the current state of the Pixel's UI and software issues, I'm ok with that.
I like the Pixel 3 camera more, however wide angle lens looks fun.
I really dislike the Pixel's pill UI navigation, have always disliked it, so going back to a three button setup will be refreshing.
Aside from the camera, there's nothing about the Pixel 3 XL that I like. It's the worst Pixel phone imo (loved the 1st, 2nd was good) and the competition has just zoomed past in terms of hardware and software on phones like the OnePlus is great and the One UI with the S10 looks great. So really looking forward to the S10+.

I wonder if you rescan after the heavy scratching if it would work then. Also after applying a tempered glass screen protector if you reregistered if that would work. Doesn't matter I will provide pull off the factory applied one anyhow and I don't if I will but another screen protector.
While I agree the pixel probably has the best camera, still I don't think the S10 is that far behind. While I don't have the 3 second camera issue I have seen some slow downs and will be happy to get back to more RAM. I tonic we are looking to the S series to end lag. Samsung has come a long way in the past few years. One issue that passes me off is while playing my watch later play list randomly I will see it start skipping multiple videos saying "video not available" but when I go back to the list and start them back up they play right away. Infuriating!!!
Oh and that battery....now that is what I am in love with. Can't wait to put that to the test.
They are but that's the first time I've seen them go to the trouble of installing one to prior to wrecking the phone. Could have been done before and I just never seen it.
