Love Flossy's reviews because he calls out BS that he can't stand. I feel like Mr Who's The Boss is a bit more commercial and concerned about keeping his relationship with Samsung to benefit his channel. Although Floss is always harping over not having an IR blaster, which I think is a bit gimmicky, but that's me.

I also love when Floss has "Shoes" inspect the usb cables for quality
Are you in the US? I know I asked someone on another post and they said yes not sure if that was you or not. I have watched a few reviews today and I am hoping the camera is at least a little better than the 23U. People were complaining about the 10 x zoom going to 5 and I don't know much about it but one guy said 10 megapixel 10 x zoom and that 50 mehapixel 5 x zoom will be the same if not better. I guess we have to wait and see. I am an Android user all the way so I don't have an opinion on i phone sorry. I know others here have had both.
My friend last T mobile for AT&T thinking they were giving her a deal of a plan and they gave her $400 towards the 8 pro she's had Ultras to and gave up her 23U. She claims everytime their was an update she had problems. But than she said she couldn't hear as well and she has hearing problems and she wanted an 23U again and they didn't have any. But she got a bill from AT&T and they charged over a 100 more than they said and she is able to go back to t-mobile and she is getting the 24 now. I just have always been a Samsung person before that HTC but if I had to get a Pixel I would over Apple. LOL!I personally don't put too much stock into reviews. Most have ulterior motive to lean one way or the other. I adore Flossy's reviews though. Entertaining AND informative.
No two people use their device the same way, so if it works for me, I keep it. If it doesn't, I send it back.
Case in point: I tried the Pixel 8 Pro. I absolutely adore the look and feel of it, and it did almost everything I needed it to do. Problem is, it doesn't have an SPen and there are some features that aren't baked in like Samsung, so I sent it back. I didn't want to force the fit just because I like the look and feel. However, there are many reviews that rank it above the S23U.
Tl;dr - try it for yourself without reviewer influence.
If only the galaxy series could have the Google assistant that's on the pixel it would be perfect. When I had the 8 pro I wasn't receiving phone calls entirely. Thankful for T-Mobiles digit feature as I would receive the calls on my other devices, but very rarely would I receive them on the pixel.
I am not familiar with Pixels how different is the google assistant than what we have now by saying hey google?
